Kids these days don't appreciate decent art tools that the Encore 2 Write would be in the right hands (and a lot of schools don't even purchase tablets anyway from what I've seen)! I was ranting like a fool after I hung up the phone. Seems it will only be available to the EDUCATIONAL SECTOR. I have spoken to Toshiba UK's sales department and they told me that the only information they have about the Encore 2 Write is that it supposed to be available in the UK in the 1st quarter according to a press release (shouldn't that mean now? But I still can't find it other than in the US and in Japan as the Dynabook Tab S68 where it's even more expensive). If anyone has or finds great insight about how to fix this OneNote eraser button problem please let me know.Ĭlick to expand.I live in the UK too and it sucks so much. I've discovered a couple of threads in Dell forums and Surface forums for OneNote that suggest this is a common problem with OneNote on some platforms including that OneNote Desktop version loses its ability to erase with button while OneNote modern still works. Front button erase works in my other programs. So for those that are familiar with and fond of the Wacom tablet PC Driver and don't need erase as a button this opens up some options for you.Īfter uninstalling the Wacom driver my Trupen resorted to its factory defaults, except that OneNote still does not erase with the front button. You can get the front button to reprogram to many other settings including opening the radial menu etc. The FeelIT driver works on the Encore Write except I still could not get any button to erase in any app even though the driver has "erase" as a pull-down preset. One of the things I tried was installing the Wacom Feel IT driver Click to expand.I'm still trying to restore the eraser functionality in OneNote with TruPen after messing with the Dell pen.
